I'm Sophia Jackson, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in anxiety, trauma, and relationship healing. If you've found your way here, I want you to know that I'm so happy you did.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe that therapy should meet you exactly where you are. Every session is shaped by what you need in that moment, because healing isn't one-size-fits-all. My role isn't to lead you somewhere unfamiliar, it's to walk alongside you on the journey to understanding yourself and feeling at home in your own life.
I work from a foundation of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that explores the complicated relationships we have with our own emotions. I also utilize Attachment Theory to better understand our relationships. So much of what shows up in our lives — anxiety, perfectionism, patterns in relationships — traces back to how we've learned to connect with and protect ourselves emotionally. Together, we gently unpack that.

Why I Do This Work
I got into this field because I believe deeply that every person deserves support in making sense of their story. The events and relationships that have shaped us leave a lasting impact. With the right space and guidance, they don't have to define our future. It is an honor to sit with people in some of their most vulnerable moments and I work harrd to create and warm and comfortable space for this work.
